Random thought:
1 minute = 60 seconds
1 second = 1000 milliseconds
1 millivanillisecond is how long millivanilli was cool
And just for the record, a millivanillisecond is short than a millisecond, but nobody had their casio watch out to measure exactly how short it was.
And if you don't know, now you know. And dat one. And made famous by this.

Uncle Sam
Uncle Sam
Does anybody else think this looks like Jonathan?
Give it a minute, and you need audio. Why don't you have speakers or headphones with your computer?....geez!

My project truck

This idea has been floating around in my head. A chopped, 2 door, h3t. http://picasaweb.google.com/doctoroctos/H3tDreamTruck?authkey=Gv1sRgCIGsyv2mhZaOoQE&feat=directlink Still needs:
1.) Inner roll cage,
2.) HID off lights,
3.) Tire mounted in the bed
4.) Front and rear lockers
Not sure if it will ever come to fruition. Still looking for a good salvaged h3 for around 8-10K....
I don't like the commercial h3t, its too long. The wheelbase looks funky. I wish they had made the concept version.

Generation Kill
I have 4 television shows I am actively following. Lost and Heroes (which most of America seems to be following). The other 2 are Wildboys and Generation Kill. If you haven't seen generation kill, its a pretty interesting series.
The series is a bit hard to follow with the many characters and changing objectives. Besides the guns, humvees (HMMWV) and action, I like to watch it because it is possible the worst job I have ever seen on television (outside of the series: Dirty Jobs) (dirty jobs will make you squirm). What I take away from the first season is how F-ed up a job can really be. This shows the real nasty command chain of the military. Any job where you don't have to dig a hole and take a dump, is a good job.

Watch out, Indians can fight, especially the little ones
I was eating at Sue's Indian Cuisine, when a guy took the last piece of Tandoori chicken, a fight broke out.... and it went like this (after 0:45 it gets good):
(This is before they paved the parking lot)
More hilarity here and here

Save it for the plane
My latest published word (phrase)
I have been using this one for years ... if you haven't heard me say it.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Save+it+for+the+plane
My top 5 worst actors/actresses and their worst movies:
1.) Nicholas Cage - every role sounds the same, there is no emotion. And more funny reasons (here). Worst movie: Snakeyes or Ghost Rider

2.) John Travolta - horrible actor. And to top it off, he starred in Hairspray. Need I say more. Worst move: Every movie is stupid. That stupid grin....can't he star only in Scientology recruiting videos?

3.) Brandon Fraser - equally horrible. Worst movie: George of the jungle

4.) Drew Barrymore - That valley girl accent-lisp is killing me. Your 34, talk like a damn American. "Like...whatever, oh my god". (PROOF - like.... ACK!) Worst movie: Charlie's Angels

5.) Hugh Grant - Guaranteed to act in a very bad romantic comedy. Worst movie: Bridget Jones Diary. Someone poke my eyes out...ugh, him and Renée Zellweger, what a bad combination. They should rename the movie to Bridget Jones Diarrhea. For some reason, I can't sit through this.

Anytime you see one or more of these actors in a movie, you should save it for the plane.
Rant off.

Security Guard
A few years ago, I was curious what my dog did all day when I was at work. I setup a time lapse camera to watch her all day. Nothing much happened. Some days I wish I could "work like a dog".
If I had to hire a dog, the monster.com ad would look like this:
Looking for a good dog to
1.) Sleep (23 hours a day)
2.) Bark at strange noises, and hysterically when the doorbell rings, even if its the doorbell on TV, and even if the doorbell on TV doesn't sound like our doorbell. (15 minutes a day)
3.) Fart (15 minutes a day)
4.) Eat (5 minutes a day)
5.) Take a dump, bonus if its the neighbors yard, just kidding (20 minutes a day, not sure why its takes so long...)
Pay: kibbles and bits, plus anything that falls of the plate/counter. Any food that gets left on or near the couch, and anything you can grab out of un-suspecting guest's hands. Good belly rubs occasionally. Must take a bath once a week.
