Found this perusing the net.
I like the mix of fast rythm and slow motion video. It almost looks like the cars are dancing (see 1:50). Plus, I like the song (Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks). Nice job.
And some not so funny video, reminds me of that line in usual suspects, "he'll flip you...he'll flip you for real."

Plumber....Telegram
Cruising Craigslist...I came across someone selling a shark shield. What the heck is a shark shield...
Came to this page:
Review of Shark Shield
Summary: The shark deterent got eaten.
Now thats funny!
Read the comments:
Phanbouy: "Apparently the misplaced electrodes were transmitting "Hi I'm tasty treat" instead of "Danger Will Sharkinson!"
KamoKazi: "The electrodes were reprogrammed when hit by a Frickin' laser beam. That is why this thing truely failed...all shark deterrents nowadays must be laser-proof."
Phanbouy: "or sharks that show up to your house: [link]"
Which takes you to spiketv. http://www.spike.com/video/land-shark/2802070. I want a pet landshark.

New Music
I am always interested in hearing some new music (too much stuff re-played on the radio). If you have something new/different, I want to hear it , send it to me!
Here is what I picked up today:
For the radiohead fans:
And for "what the hell was that" fans:
Just in case this is my last post before the holidays. MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Robotic Girlfriend?!?
http://www.geekologie.com/2007/11/aiko_robot_doesnt_like_being_t.php
If you haven't seen this yet, it is hilarious. Watch the video, then read the comments.
I think everyone can think of someone who needs one of these, to make this Christmas an extra special holiday.. The funniest part is that he gets totally denied by his robot.

Show Biz
I was watching MGMT's video Electric Feel. In the video they feature the animatronics from the old Show Biz Pizza gang. I found that the original designer of the machines helped choreograph the scenes. I found he made an entire video with the crew. This brings back some old memories.
If you have never been to Show Biz Pizza. Skip this video. But if you want to try some new music, the song still rocks.
And probably my #1 played song is MGMT - Kids, check it out.

New funny stuff that I have been meaning to lookup
I found Eugene Mirman on Sirius one day. Wanted to lookup his stuff. Damn, he's funny.
Man, I wish I had this guys knowledge:
This is a goof on the Tom Cruise interview.
for some reason, I want to use one of these lines in an interview, just to see how it would go over.
For example:
Interviewer: “Daniel, what is your best trait”
Me: “I can snap my fingers…really well”
Or
Me: “I can imagine people naked, and I am usually right”
Here is a link to Eugene Mirman's website
http://eugenemirman.com/
Also, funny is Jim Short. Not wildly popular but very funny. I am on the hunt for a clip that he does titled the "Kilt Shop". Absolutely hilarious. Unfortunately, they don't sell his jokeslinger cd or the CD titled "Deep Beneath the surface of the earth"

The 2008 look

If you haven't noticed. All the asian woman are wearing these. Us American's aren't sure if they are welding masks, or upside down visors, but they do have that darth vader look to them. Your not sure what to expect underneath the visors. I am confident these will take off. Start buying some stock in ... Big Headed Visor Co. because their stock is going to go through the roof. Wait a second, something tells me these are a dollar in Chinatown, nevermind. Don't buy the stock.

New snowboarding video
Just finished a new snowboarding video. It was the first time I interlaced audio from the video with music. I now know how to fade in and out music appropriately. I think I will try playing with the music filters next (low pass, high pass).
These videos take a bit of work, typically 20-25 hours to preview, slice, dice, mix, compile and release. Its quite fun to do, and it is always fun to watch them when they are done.
