What the....?

"
School's out at John Marshal High School, and exiting the facility are your typical cliques: cheerleaders, nerds, jocks and Goths… and werewolves?

"We're not to be feared,” said Argus, his ghost-white, eyes staring at the camera.
Argus is one of several members of the wolf pack, one of several packs scattered about San Antonio's north side.
...
The fascination with werewolves dates back to the 19-30's, with popular movies starring Lon Chaney, Jr. More recently, movies like Van Helsing and the Twilight series have captured the attention of teenagers. They may not be mutating from man to wolf, but Northside school district counselors warn these teens are experiencing transformations of their own: from childhood to adulthood.
...
Northside officials confirm wolf packs do exist in at least half a dozen schools, with anywhere from 12 to 20 werewolves in each. Dress codes are strictly enforced, NISD officials say. The wolf pack isn't allowed the tails, chains, or anything else that negatively affects the learning environment.

Dei's got his own leash he wears. His mom has a leash on him to: Pam Manley keeps Dei tethered to family, his chores and his studies.

Wow, that is worse than goth and emo, and I thought those were already bad. I hope my kid isn't...weird.

Art vs Science

It seems like all the great geniuses of the 21st century go to a liberal arts college (I am being sarcastic). If you meet anyone that has a degree from a liberal arts college, ask them how that is working out. The laws of science are based on rules, logic. A science based degree (bachelors of science, or a master of science) is sort of like a certification that you qualify in understanding and applying the rules taught in that program. There are no laws of art, it has no rules. Sure, as a society we need artists, actors, musicians, and poets, but do you really need a degree? What does a degree in art prove? I really think a B.A. is b.s. I think an art degree is fantastic idea if your life plan is to sit around and argue hypothetical situations while collecting government stimulus money.

Its Peanut Butter Jelly Time

This is Nathan's favorite song. Notice how when I stop playing it... he stops dancing.

I need to take this to the streets of San Francisco. Try to make some money.

Summer Jam 2010

I have a feeling this will be the song of the summer.

It smells like....

...some old Nirvana being remixed. This was interesting. I am sure purists will hate it.

Like a kid on christmas

Picked up my new tig welder. Super excited! Now I can do aluminum and stainless.

I need to figure out how to get it out of the back of the truck. It weighs between 200-300lbs.

Places you have never heard of

After looking at a craigslist ad, I was curious of where Kaimuki,HI was located. Like most small cities, I never heard of, I had no clue where they are located. Using google maps I found it to be like San Jose, on Oahu.

Zoom in.
That is really crowded. Why would someone want to live in such a condensed area on Hawaii?
