Public healthcare

This new health care system is possibly the worst idea I have ever heard. The worst part is if you look for who is going to pay for this system. Its going to burden the working people. They plan to tax large businesses who won't provide health care to workers. So, then the businesses will offer health care, and charge large premiums. Which is just as bad as not offering anything at all. The next group to get taxed are existing insurance providers. They will be taxed at 35%. The increased taxes on the insurance providers will get passed to the companies. The companies are going to pass those costs on the employees. The average employee paying for family insurance can expect the cost of their insurance to go up by $800.[u] Folks, we are in the middle of a recession, and these politicians want to burden everyone with more expenses. Are these people retarded? Then, they want to cap the maximum that insurance companies can charge individuals for insurance. The cap would $8K for an individual, and $24K for a family. WOW, hold on, this year's census shows the average family in California earns $52K annually. After taxes, he is probably at $38K. He is now going to pay $24K for insurance. Who is working the calculator? They need to put the crack pipe down. I am sorry if you can't afford insurance, but I don't think its the burden of the working public to pay for your insurance. Health insurance today, next are we going to pay for car insurance? Then what, food? Everyone has to eat... How about not buying an iPhone and signing up for Premium cable if you can't afford health insurance. Lets start there.

My biggest worry, is once we start into this ludicrous idea. There won't be any turning back. It will be never ending like medicaid and social security. It will snowball out of control. After they have provided this, they can't say, well it didn't work out, so as of this date, we are going to cut it off. Nope, it will never end.

If you are not paying attention to politics, it would be a good time to open your eyes.
