Top 10 Cartoons Of ALL TIME

I look at cartoons today, most of them are computer animated, and most of the suck. I thought about all the good cartoons I used to watch as a kid. I came up with my top 10 cartoons.

10.) Recess
Plot line - A random group of kids getting into trouble
What made it cool - Remembering recess time in school. Getting into trouble with friends.

9.) Inspector Gadget
Plot line - A Goofy bionic inspector is really supported by his intelligent daughter (Penny), and overly intelligent dog
What made it cool - The random, over the top gadgets that inspector gadget would whip out for any situation. The super computer book that Penny carried around. Back then it was considered futuristic. But today its a standard laptop.

8.) Duck Tales
Plot line: Good ducks vs. Bad ducks
What made it cool - The characters { Huey, Dewey, Louie, Scrooge McDuck, Mrs Beakley, Launchpad McQuack, the Beagle Boys and Ma Beagle}

7.) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Plot line: Turtles are infected by toxic sewage, turn into crime fighting, sewer dwelling, pizza eating characters.
What made it cool - The weapons. Each Turtle had a different weapon. Every person had their own favorite turtle, but it seemed Michelangelo was favorite with his numchucks. The series died shortly after the 3rd movie. But they are making comeback now.

6.) Voltron
Plot line - Robotic cats assembled to form a giant robot
What made it cool - Each of the cats had amazing powers. As a kid I imagined riding in one of these would be the coolest thing ever. As an adult, it would still be pretty darn awesome.

5.) Transformers
Plot line - Entities from out space take the shape of earth like machines which transform into robots to fight bad robots.
What made it cool - The thought of having a robot or vehicle that could transform. What always amused me is that the decepticons seemed to have better robots. The latest movies are pretty good, but they need to get rid of Shai Le-bouf, he sucks.

4.) X-men (the original cartoon)
Plot line - Stories from the comics
What made it cool - This was your favorite comic book characters in cartoon form. This cartoon series was true to the comic books. Lots of interesting characters and stories. I watched an episode recently, and it was still great. The movies seem to be doing very well now.

3.) Simpsons
Plot Line - The life of a dysfunctional family
What made it cool - The first 5 or 6 years of the simpsons were great. Back then they had a story for each character. After that, it became too commercialized and focused on homer. I can't say I know anyone who still watches it. The best episodes were the Halloween specials. Its fun to watch those the day of or day before Halloween.

2.) G.I.-Joe
Plot Line - Good guys vs bad guys with futuristic weapons.
What made it cool - Lasers, and missiles... do they need anything more. Gi-Joe always rocked. Too bad nobody ever died. It was a cartoon soap opera. Have to wait to see how the movie does.

1.) He-man and the Masters of the Universe
Plot Line - By the power of grayskull. He man rocked, he would call out thunder, pump up like steroids, and ride a battle cat. That was awesome.
What made it cool - The cartoon was a mix of futuristic technology and Conan the barbarian type action. Even though they had lasers, they would fight with swords. They had hover crafts, but Heman would ride on the back of a tiger.... a lot if didn't make sense, but it was entertaining.
